Fotofestival is one of Poland’s biggest and oldest photo festivals. Its first edition was organized in 2001 and since then the festival has grown in size and audience. Besides the annual main event, Fotofestival organizes many other actions, contents, and exhibition throughout the whole year. We were asked to support Fotofestiwal with their website design for each edition since a few years now.
The web design had to intuitive yet clean and simple, so the user would not be distracted from the most important information (such as, for instance, an announcement of a contest’s results).
The UX part was very crucial to the overall project: the website such as Fotofestiwals is packed with eye-catching photos, which makes it also vulnerable to so-called “content overload”. To ensure no user would feel lost or confused, we have put an extra effort to all our UX wireframes.
